CompuLab Introduces the WiFi interface for CM-iGLX Computer-On-Module

HAIFA, ISRAEL – December 27, 2007 – CompuLab introduces a WLAN / WiFi connectivity solution integrated into the CM-iGLX computer-on-module, and consequently into the SBC-iGLX single board computer. Integrated WiFi implements the 802.11b and 802.11g standards, supporting a  transmission rates up to 54 Mbps and using a 2.4 GHz band.
In addition to the new WiFi interface, the CM-iGLX CoM contains Geode LX800 CPU, DDR, Flash Disk, 32-bit PCI bus, 100Mbit Ethernet, serial ports, general purpose I/O lines and many other essential functions. The user interface is supported by an enhanced graphics controller, touchscreen, USB interface for keyboard / mouse and Audio system with speakers and microphone support. The standardized CAMI (“CompuLab’s Aggregated Module Interface”) connectors of the CM-iGLX module allow interchangeability with other Computer-On-Module’s available from CompuLab, enabling the flexibility required in a dynamic market where application requirements can change rapidly.

The CM-iGLX module with WiFi is available now, and is priced starting at $126 for 1K -unit quantities. Evaluation Kits are also available from CompuLab.
